Follow the Yellow Dog River downstream all the way to Bushy Creek, which is located a short distance past a modern log cabin. The best paths are located on the south, or right, side of the river for the first three or four drops on Yellow Dog but dissipate quickly. Cross the river when possible to find the footpath again, though a cabin is located on the northern riverbank which you'll have to walk past. Bushy Creek is the first creek on the north side past this cabin.
