Area:
Very swampy and hilly area near Michigamme. A nice cabin is near the falls.
Trail:
35 minutes one-way
There is two ways to visit these falls. The illegal way is to jump the gate, follow the driveway over the small creek and take the left fork right before the cabin, which goes right next to the falls. The semi-legal way is to head to the right of the clearing before the gate, head north first down, then up, until you hit a decent-size swampy creek. This empties into the West Branch Peshekee River. Follow it downstream a bit until you can ford it, then head back upstream around the sharp right bend to the falls.
Drive:
1 hour 12 mins from Houghton, MI (change)
