Upper falls are two-tiered, with the first drop being tall and almost a direct drop and the lower ones more gradual and shorter as the river enters a small reservoir. Second falls is a direct drop over blocks of sandstone. The third falls steps a short distance down over larger blocks of sandstone into a deep pool. Fourth drop is a tall, direct drop ending in a deep pool with an small overhang reaching out on the left side. The fifth, and largest, waterfall is an impressive direct drop over a sandstone cliff with small drops above and a rock-littered slope below. Last waterfall is formed when a smaller creek flows into this final gorge with a similar direct drop down.
