- Description:
- A rough tumble in a remote area directly into Lake Superior. Falls are large and jagged with several distinct drops.

- Thick woods with random cedar tree outcroppings along the way. Several camping sites along the route, including a great clearing near the mouth of the Montreal. Very pristine, natural area with a great view of Keweenaw Bay and the Huron Mountains to the south on clear days.

- 45 minutes one-way
After parking at the end of Smithss-Fishery Road continue on foot along the shoreline. First third of the trail is an old two-track and the last two-thirds is a well-trodden footpath. - Drive:
