(falls) (log)

One of the several chutes that the creek was diverted into.
A large, three story building just barely hidden from the road.
The back of the mining building visible from the road.
The glass on top was mostly broken and the floor had gaping holes in it.
Remains of a bridge high over the creek.
Collapsed chute for the creek.
Looking back over the mining ruins with Torch Lake in the background.
First view of the creek after tumbling down the the ORV track.
First falls on Quincy creek.
Small natural dam. There were tons of these along the way - probably due to the steep canyon walls and thick underbrush along the creek.
A small almost-clearing.
The outcroppings along the canyon wall were impressive.
Second falls - an ancient manmade dam.
The colors of the rocks and vegetation made some amazing contrasts.
The intermittent creek was actually a pretty decent size on this day.
A tiny drop right below the third falls.
The third small drop.
Quincy Falls
